What time can I check in?

You can check in to the Glass House from 2pm until 5pm.

What time do I need to check out from my stay?

Check out is by 11am. You’re welcome to store your bags and use our facilities until 4pm on your check out day. 

Can I stay longer?

If you want to stay longer, you can add on package blocks of five or seven days. This is up to a maximum of three weeks (21 days).

For example, you could stay for 12 days, and enjoy the treatments of a seven-day package and five-day package spread throughout your stay.

Do I have to pay in full at the time of booking?

Yes all bookings must be paid in full at point of booking. Please see our T&Cs for booking and cancellation policies.

What do I need to bring?

Indoor exercise apparel, swimwear, appropriate shoes and clothing for the morning walks through the countryside, comfy clothing to relax in, flipflops if you require them and of course yourself.

Can I book for a group?

We accept bookings for multiple rooms, however if you are coming in a group feel free to take advantage of our discount of 40% off a second person sharing a room.

What is your cancellation policy?

Once confirmed, if you need to move or cancel your booking you can do so by giving a minimum of 30 days’ notice period, at which time a £50 admin fee is applied per guest. Cancellations or alteration to booking dates that fail to give a 30-day notice will result in you forfeiting monies paid, (sorry there are no exceptions).  However, we’d be happy for you to nominate someone else to take your place and highly recommend that you consider travel insurance to cover potential eventualities.

Is there a smoking area?

Glass House Retreat’s venue, including our spa gardens and car park are smoke free.


If I'm using the Cryo Chamber will I need to sign a disclaimer?

Correct, we will require you to under go a health assessment and sign paperwork before using the Cryo Chamber.

Do I need to book spa treatments before arriving?

We do advise guests book spa treatments in advance to avoid disappointment, but you are more than welcome to book extra treatments when you arrive or during your stay and we will do our best to accommodate you.

What time is the Spa open to have treatments?

The Spa operates from 9:30AM to 6:30 PM daily

What time is the pool open?

The pool is open from 8:00AM to 7:00PM

What time is the gym open?

The gym is open from 8AM to 7:00PM.

What times can I book a personal training (PT) session?

PT sessions can be booked to take place from 8:30AM to 6:30PM, excluding lunch time.

What is the age limit of the spa?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old for guests.

Can I come just for treatments?

We do have a separate area for day guests coming in for individual treatments, but these are by appointment only.

What is the best way to book my spa/treatments?

You can book treatments at point of booking, by calling in any time before you arrive or once you are here, however we do recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment. We also have a Glass House Retreat app, downloadable for free to schedule all your bookings.

What should I wear during my treatment?

Clients are to arrive in a clean and fresh state to receive their therapy. Failure to do so will result in your therapy time being wasted for showering or changing.  For facials please arrive without make up.  For residential Guests your dressing gowns are recommended for spa treatments.

How deep is the pool?

Our pool is 4ft deep.


Do you supply alcohol on site?

At the Glass House we offer a pure detox and weight loss experience. No junk food or alcohol is allowed — just seasonal fruits, vegetables, nuts, and grains—local, fresh, and delivered daily. Our first choice is organic too.

What should I do if I have dietary requirements?

If you have certain dietary requirements, please contact us directly and we can discuss how we can support you.

What sort of choice will there be?

For every meal our guests will be asked to choose from a menu designed for their specific dietary plan. We want you to have a choice and a chance to explore the amazing food our team prepares.

Can I change my dietary plan during my stay?

Of course. If you are not happy with the plan you are on just go to the reception and request to change to another for no additional fee.

What if I have dietary requirements?

Please make us aware of any dietary requirements at point of booking so that our helpful kitchen staff can prepare for your arrival.

Can I come just for lunch?

No sorry, we only cater to guests staying in our facility.

Can I have my meals in my room?

Unfortunately no, all meals are to be eaten in the dining room and we don’t provide room service.
