Building a new fitness regime is based upon the key principles of consistency and discipline. Committing to attending 3-4 classes a day, morning walks and going to the gym is the best way to improving your physical fitness.
Our inhouse wellness specialist, Jamie, can create a bespoke programme for your goals and fitness levels, which can be altered as you progress.
Top tip: Post exercise cryotherapy sessions are great ways to aid in your body’s recovery. The cold environment is designed to reduce exercise soreness allowing you to be at your best sooner. Remember any retreat stay for two nights or more in January includes a free Cyrotherapy session!
Many people detox in January and stop drinking alcohol, but there’s much more to this healthy lifestyle change. During a detox, our body actively seeks out and eliminates unhealthy cells, replacing them with more resilient cells - a complete reset.
A well-known and simple way to detox is drinking water each day. Room temperature and cold water helps flush the body of toxins while hot water helps rehydrate and improves water absorption. At the Glass House Retreat, you can focus on a healthy, plant-based diet and detox from C.R.A.P (carbonated drinks, refined sugars, artificial ingredients and processed food) with our vegan foods and drinks leaving you feeling lighter and fresher.
Complementary detox treatments available include:
· Thousand Flower Detox Wrap with Green Tea Balm, to encourage super skin health and powerful detoxification
· Lime and Ginger Salt Scrub, to stimulate the lymphatic system to encourage natural detoxification

Life can be hectic and stressful. There is no denying that spa treatments are one of the best ways to relax. Great rest and relaxation helps us reset, become less tense, reducing the stress hormone, cortisol, that can affect everything from our sleep to blood pressure.
Something as simple as a full body massage relieves tense muscles and helps reduce cortisol in the body. Yoga and Pilates classes during the day balance the body and relax the mind. Afternoon sessions include Relaxation Hypnosis, Breathwork and Relaxing Pilates to aid better sleep.
We also offer one-to-one, Mind and Meditation sessions, where we can monitor your body’s positive response to meditation. This proven technique is something you can take home from the Glass House and continue on your wellness journey.
